Lynn University spent approximately five million dollars to host tonight’s final presidential debate, the president of the university revealed in an interview earlier today on MSNBC’s Morning Joe.

“It’s about a five million dollar venture for us,” said Dr. Kevin Ross, president of Lynn University.

Lynn University spent roughly five million dollars to be the host of tonight’s final presidential debate.

He later added that the school has raised a little over half of the money back.

Ross also noted that the debate has generated excitement on campus that is unrivaled in the university’s history.

“It’s amazing,” he said. “Our entire community is united… I’ve never seen anything like this.”

Lynn University is a private school located in Florida and established in 1962. A total of 2,109 students are enrolled from 44 states and 78 countries.

Tonight’s final presidential debate will focus on foreign policy and will be moderated by Bob Schieffer.
