Kanye West’s punishment for assaulting a photographer is talking to college kids about fashion.
West attacked the photographer who was trying to talk to him at Los Angeles airport last July, rushing him and attempting to take the camera out of his hands. The entire incident was captured on airport security cameras.
After pleading no contest to misdemeanor battery in March, the rapper was sentenced to two years’ probation and 250 hours of community service. He has apparently been serving it by going to multiple colleges to talk about fashion, according to an article published in TMZ on Monday.
West spent three hours talking his experiences in the fashion industry at Los Angeles Technical College on Monday, the celebrity news website reports. It was his third visit to the school over the past six weeks.
West has launched several clothing lines and has also collaborated with Adidas and Nike to release his own shoe, which he called Air Yeezys.
