Most conservative student groups are independent, self-directed, and unaffiliated. However, others are linked to or cooperate with national organizations which can offer resources and advice to local groups.
The Leadership Institute's Campus Leadership Program is the largest of those national organizations, and if your student group needs assistance, the Campus Leadership Program is here to help. CLP groups retain their autonomy but gain access to an array of Institute training and support.
CLP group members are trained how to:
- Fight political correctness and leftist abuses and bias
- Build a grassroots student organization
- Host conservative speakers and events on campus
- Start a conservative publication on campus
- Win student government elections
CLP groups get advice and other services from CLP national staff and are eligible to receive grants and scholarships to support their activism.
LI's Campus Leadership Program maintains a correspondent relationship with conservative student groups. Each group remains independent to direct its own operations and decision-making. CLP is not a membership organization, but it offers student groups training, grants, scholarships, networking and career opportunities, and a base of support for their conservative activism. Generous Leadership Institute donors make these services possible.
