Young Americans for Liberty makes a splash at UNH

All it takes is "taking the Constitution seriously". Imagine that!

That is also the goal of Young Americans for Liberty who began to educate UNH students on September 17 through their celebration of Constitution Day, during which they handed out free booklets containing the Constitution, Bill of Rights and the Articles of Confederation.

Houston Baptist University Starts Pro-Life Student Group

Houston Baptist University recently launched a new pro-life student group Students for Life. Michael Austin will be heading the group with help from many students excited about promoting pro life values on the campus. Some students were surprised to find out that at a religious school like Houston Baptist University there was no pro life student group.

Furman Students Host Tom Woods

The Furman University Conservative Students for a Better Tomorrow are bringing Tom Woods to speak on their Greenville, SC campus this Friday. The talk is entitled "Meltdown: How Both Parties Wrecked the Economy." It will be held in Plyer Hall 126 from 5:30pm-6:30pm.

Bank of America: No Longer Funding ACORN

Today, Bank of America announced that they were no longer providing financial support to ACORN:

In response to questions from The Wall Street Journal, a spokesman for the banking company said it has "suspended current commitments" to Acorn Housing, an affiliated group, and "will not enter into any further agreements with Acorn or any of its affiliates," pending assessments by the bank of the organization's operations.

Conservatives at Weber State
