Reformer's Blog
Why take action? Because you can help a friend in need.
You may not experience any abuses of academic freedom at your school. But your friends might!
What's accepted on one campus may be met with bitter backlash at another. Campus Reform is a hub for conservative and libertarian student activists which you can use to reach out to other students -- like you -- who may need a helping hand. Some have encountered unconstitutional "free speech zones," while others have been publicly ridiculed by faculty for their beliefs.
You can take action today to help these brave activists.
Here are a couple ways to help:
- Contact the appropriate Campus Reform staffer if you know of embattled student activists who need assistance defending liberty on campus. The person you contact will be able to get in touch with the students in question and provide helpful support, advice, contacts, and resources -- all absolutely free!
- Do some publicity work. One of the most important steps for students who are fighting back on campus is to get off-campus attention attention and assistance. You might not have much extra time, but small things can help; for instance, a letter to the editor on behalf of a student whose academic freedom has been attacked could be both encouraging and effective.
- Spread the word about Campus Reform to your friends. The greater our numbers, the more victories we'll win on campus this spring.
