Reformer's Blog
Why take action? Because your campus needs to know.
To know what? To know what you know.
If you're active in a conservative or libertarian club on your campus, you're probably more politically engaged and informed than most other students at your school. There are no doubt issues that you and other members of your club care about and about which you are well-informed.
Take action on your campus to raise awareness among the rest of the student body.
The best way to do this is to plan and successfully execute an issue-oriented activism idea.
Look over Campus Reform's extensive list of activism ideas and pick one which fits your schedule, budget, issue interest, and school atmosphere. Start planning now so you'll be prepared for the spring semester -- good publicity in particular can take a lot of time and forethought, but it plays a major role in the success of your event.
If you need assistance working out or supporting the issue position you wish to promote, contact one of the many conservative and libertarian organizations listed at Campus Reform. The staff there will likely be happy to help you. Check out these lists of:
- National sources of programs and services,
- Legal defense organizations willing to provide you free assistance should you run into trouble, and
- State-based organizations able to give you more localized assistance and information.
Contact an appropriate group from these lists today for scholarly resources to back up the philosophy you want to share on campus -- because your campus needs to know.
