Abbey Torkelson is the Leadership Institute's Regional Field Coordinator for ID, MT, WY, CO, UT, NV, AZ, and NM.  Through this role, she provides resources and training to conservative and libertarian student groups throughout her region.  Abbey was also a summer intern for development at the Leadership Institute in 2012.

Prior to joining LI, Abbey served as an intern in communications and development for Young Americans for Liberty.  She has also worked as an office manager for Indiana Irrigation Company and was involved in the Civil Air Patrol for nearly 10 years.

Abbey is a graduate of Ivy Tech Community College in Logansport, IN, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude.
