CampusReform.org to Challenge Dominance of College Leftists

Arlington, Va. – The Leadership Institute today launched CampusReform.org, a new social networking website for conservative student activists.  Designed to help student groups promote conservative principles and fight liberal abuses at colleges and universities across the country, CampusReform.org offers its users advanced networking capabilities, training, and a variety of continually updated activism resources.

Leadership Institute Timeline

1962-65 Morton Blackwell serves as the state chairman of the Louisiana College Republicans and the Louisiana Young Republicans.  Morton then becomes executive director of the College Republicans and holds that position on and off for five and a half years under four College Republican national chairmen.

1967 Morton becomes the youth coordinator for the successful Louie Nunn for Governor of Kentucky campaign, an opportunity which enables him to create the nation’s first mass-based youth campaign effort.

1968 He uses his experience on the Nunn campaign to design and hold his first national youth leadership school, a class of twenty people whom he trained to be youth organizers.  Among these first twenty are future Iowa Governor Terry Branstad and future Kentucky U.S. Senator Mitch McConnell.
