Rate Your Professor and Review Textbooks at CampusReform.org
***NEWS RELEASE***
ARLINGTON, Va. - CampusReform.org, a social mobilization website for conservative and libertarians on campus, encourages college students to use its tools to rate professors and review textbooks for left-wing bias. The site has launched a special promotion of this feature to coincide with the end of the semester, when students who have experienced abuse of intellectual liberty will be more likely to speak up without fear for their grades.
"This is a good time of year for students to take initiative to rate professors who let their leftist views interfere with their jobs. More easily now, students can review textbooks which are more liberal propaganda than scholastic material," said Morton Blackwell, founder of CampusReform.org. "Campus Reform made these rating systems available so students can warn their classmates and expose the leftist bias that has been unchallenged for far too long in American higher education."
The professor rating system allows students to score professors' political leaning, grading bias, discussion bias, and lecture bias. Users can also leave a comment. This multidimensional system is designed to prevent unfair ratings from disgruntled users. Textbooks are reviewed by student users, who may also request a scholarly review through the Campus Reform staff.
"Rating professors and reviewing textbooks is a big step in combating the suppression of free speech and academic freedom on campus," said Bryan Bernys, National Director of CampusReform.org.
"Your reviews and ratings alert other students as to what is occurring on campus and helps watchdog organizations like CampusReform.org know when to offer our resources," Bernys said. "If you are a conservative or libertarian college student, go to CampusReform.org and let us know how your professor did this semester. Don't suffer in silence any longer."
CampusReform.org, a project of the Leadership Institute, is a social mobilization website for conservative and libertarian student activists. The website includes a unique subsite for each of the 2,376 four-year colleges and universities in the country and offers customizable pages for both student groups and individual users. For more information about CampusReform.org, visit www.campusreform.org.
