Is Your Student Government Treating You Unfairly?

By wes, on January 13, 2010

Take action for fair allottment of Student Government Association funds! If your school is like many, your student government probably has significant influence over the student activities budget.  Depending on those elected to the government, conservative and libertarian student groups may find themselves subjected to routine discrimination.

Some student governments treat these groups unfairly by allotting to them a disproportionately small portion of the activities budget.  Others may refuse to officially recognize a group.

These unfair, left-leaning student governments show no symathy for students who support liberty and academic freedom.  Because of this, they may refuse to allow a conservative or libertarian group to present its case during budget meetings or determine not to give a fair allocation.
