National Day of Activism Commemorates the Fall of the Berlin Wall
November 9, 2009 marked the 20th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall. CampusReform.org and Young Americans for Liberty cosponsored a national day of activism to protest this country’s socialistic tendencies and rebuilding of the Berlin Wall…on our own soil. Here are reports from that event (click on each school's name for more information):

- Louisiana State University (more here as well):To mark the twentieth anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall the Libertarians of LSU along with the Young Conservatives at LSU planned to join over 40 schools across the nation in building a wall displaying the "Ten Planks of Communism" and asking students whether or not they believe the United States engages in some of the very same socialist activities Karl Marx called for to implement communism. Sadly, after working long and hard to bring the project to fruition, the groups' activity was cut short by the university.

The University of South Florida, the country's ninth largest school by enrollment, has a wide array of student perspectives and YAL @ USF was successfully able to educate many students who were not aware of the dangerous communist values many in government try to uphold in America today. - George Mason University:

On November 9th, 2009 the College Republicans at UCSD commemorated the 20th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall by building their own wall and displaying it prominently on Library Walk, the main walkway on campus. On the Eastern side were facts and figures about the evils of communism, as well as quotes by well known communist leaders. The Western side was available for people to demonstrate the free expression of ideas by allowing students to spray paint it.
