Yale hosts first pro-life conference

Last weekend, Yale University hosted the first pro-life conference in the school's history.

Vita et Vertitas, presented by the student organization Choose Life at Yale, featured speakers and panels presenting pro-life points of view.

The events included an interfaith panel and a speech from a former abortionist who became pro-life.

The school's official newspaper, the Yale Daily News, reported that although most of the conference attendees were members of Choose Life at Yale, there were several exceptions — such as Dimitri Halikias, who said he attended despite not having pro-life views.

"They did a really good job trying to attack the issue from different perspectives instead of using stereotypical arguments," he told the paper.
