About Kye
Kye Laughter is a Regional Director for the United States Senate based in Asheville, North Carolina. He previously served as Press Secretary for Congressmen Chuck Edwards and Dan Bishop, and began his federal career as a Legislative Correspondent in the U.S. House of Representatives. Prior to that, he spent five years with the North Carolina General Assembly, working his way up from intern to Legislative Assistant. While in college, Kye was a North Carolina Campus Correspondent for Campus Reform, covering free speech issues in higher education. He holds a Master’s degree in History from UNC Wilmington and a Bachelor’s in Public Relations from NC State. A Hendersonville native, Kye is dedicated to public service and effective communication in government.
