Thomas Fugate is currently a Special Assistant at the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. He has a background in government affairs, having worked in both the Texas and U.S. House of Representatives, and at The Heritage Foundation, where he supported policy initiatives and events. Fugate holds a Bachelor of Arts in Politics and Law from the University of Texas at San Antonio, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude with a minor in Business Administration. In college, he served as a correspondent for Campus Reform and was involved in leadership roles such as Secretary General of the Model United Nations Club. He has also mentored aspiring legal professionals through the Pre-Law Association and gained political insight through an internship with the Trump campaign.
