About Maura
My name is Maura Close and I am studying to earn my degree in media studies with a minor in dance. I am also the news and sports director for the student run radio station at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, WUAG 103.1fm where I attend weekly meetings and radio shows, fill out monthly calendars, host college events, and create PSA's for student and community DJ's to play during their shows. My field of study mainly focuses on filmmaking, documentaries, scriptwriting, broadcast newswriting and journalism. I am passionate about my fight against liberal bias at my school and am determined to expose any injustices I see on my infamously leftist campus.
