U of Nebraska gives free cars, country club memberships to coaches and admins

Most of the recipients of the free perks are athletic coaches.

University of Nebraska gives free cars and country club memberships to almost 100 of its administrators and coaches.

The combined value of the gifts was more than $2.25 million, according to an article published on Omaha.com.

School officials said the money comes from donations and other private funding sources.
