Bill Clinton also received hundreds of thousands to speak at UCLA

Bill Clinton received $250K for a 2012 speech at UCLA; Hillary received $300K for a speech there in March.

Both Bill and Hillary donated their money to their foundation, the Bill, Hillary and Chelsea Clinton Foundation.

Other Republican and Democrat speakers were not compensated.

It turns out Hillary is not the only Clinton to receive hundreds of thousands of dollars to speak at University of California - Los Angeles (UCLA) — her husband Bill received $250,000 for a speech in 2012.

Hillary received $300,000 from the university for her speech in March.

Both Bill and Hillary donated all of the money to their own foundation—the Bill, Hillary and Chelsea Clinton Foundation.

Ryan Jones, chairman of the Bruin Republicans, told Campus Reform the high fees were a poor use of funds.

"It is disappointing to see the UC system and UCLA use their already-slim funding to pay top dollar for big political speakers when there are more pertinent issues, like student fees, that need attention," he said in an email Wednesday.
Other speakers who received large amounts of money from the school were former United Nations Secretary General Kofi Annan ($180,000 in 2013) and basketball player Ann Meyers ($4,000 in 2003).

Several speakers, including former Republican Governor of Utah Jon Huntsman (2014), former Secretaries of State Condoleezza Rice (2013) and Madeleine Albright (2014),and U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Samantha Power (2014) according to an article in The Daily Bruin, the school's official student newspaper.
