VIDEO: Protesters target Rubio at conservative conference
At the Road to the Majority conference in Washington D.C., Senator Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) was interrupted by a series of college-aged protesters calling for deferred action for illegal immigrants.
"DAPA, implement DAPA," screamed one protester as he was removed from the conference. The protester's removal drew considerable applause from attendees.
"I hope you never take that for granted by the way," Rubio responded. "If you do that in another country you would be in jail tonight."
"If you do that in another country, your family's house could be raided, your businesses can be closed, and American people have the right to interrupt speeches, we have the right to be rude, they have a right to be wrong," the presidential hopeful quipped. "We live in a free society."
