'She's Conservative' book highlights struggles conservative women face on campus

A new book chronicles the struggles faced by 22 conservative women on campus and provides insight into their beliefs.

Edited by Karin Agness Lips, founder and president of the conservative organization Network for Enlightened Women, She’s Conservative: Stories of Trials and Triumphs on America’s College Campuses contains stories from women who attended 17 different universities.

”Some began their freshman year ready to take on the prevailing liberal narrative with gusto,” the book’s Amazon description reads. “Others took some time to come out of their shells. In the end, all are inspirations. All are role models. All are champions.”

The site also features reflections from the featured female authors.

”[Harvard’s] administrators, deans and professors must recognize the importance of promoting students’ engagement with ideas that challenge their preexisting notions — because a liberal institution doesn’t help liberal students learn,” She’s Conservative contributor and Campus Reform correspondent Emily Hall said.

”What I didn’t foresee, however, was that my personal and political stances would affect my grades,” fellow author and Campus Reform correspondent Sophie Czerniecki said.
