WATCH: Students celebrating President Obama’s birthday surprised after being forced to pay ‘cupcake tax’

College students celebrating President Obama’s birthday this weekend were surprised when a video activist forced them to a pay a satirical “cupcake tax” aimed at illustrating the ills of wealth redistribution.

Campus Reform personality Caleb Bonham travelled to Denver Metropolitan State University on Friday to handout cupcakes to students who were interested in celebrating President Obama’s 52nd birthday which in on Sunday.

When the students attempted to eat the dessert, Bonham snatched a piece imposing a “30 percent cupcake tax” on the students.

“Taxes?” questioned one surprised student. “No!”

“Aaahh,” groaned another.
