VIDEO: Calif College Republicans' signs stolen
- CSU Chico College Republican Executive Director Michael Curry filmed two women who had taken the group's signs.
- The students claimed that taking the signs was "free speech" but declined to identify themselves.
- Another woman tried to grab Curry's phone when he recorded her, insisting that he did not have the right to film her in a public space.
Individuals at California State University, Chico stole signs erected by the school's College Republicans chapter, a video obtained by Campus Reform shows.
The contents of the signs were not clearly visible in the video, Curry told Campus Reform on Monday that the signs stated that three liberal city council candidates "want to raise gas prices” and “ignore [the] homeless problem.”
